Moving into a tiny cottage on Main Street, Haworth, Larkin battles with homesickness and behaves like a typical adolescent. Eventually, Larkin and Shorty become good friends but a charming boy with his own secrets causes disunity and Larkin has to choose between him and her new friendship with Shorty.
